I can’t help but wonder how many members they will lose. I think every Eagle Scout, past and present, should join together to stop this bastardization. I also can’t help but wonder if this change will bring the leaders of the organization more money. Big question, when, and how, did the people making this decision, the woke people, get into that high a position in the BOY SCOUTS?

I couldn’t even finish reading this article. One sentence said “However, as society continues to evolve, so must the organizations that shape our youth.” Why? The Boy Scouts are for boys, the Girl Scouts are for girls. Let these other people form their own group. Transgenderism is just another leftist issue they are using to divide our country, and you are falling into their trap when you join them. It’s just another way to destroy our country. Oh, one more thing….I bet money is involved somehow. Someone is getting paid off. All I can say is I’m glad my kids are all grown and not in school anymore. I had 4 boys and I was a den mother for the group. If this happened when they were members, I would take them out. Looks like we are no longer a Christian nation. I’m so sorry.

Baden Powell would roll over in his grave. What a shame to see the end of the Boy Scouts. They did stand for true American values. I’m a silver beaver, have received the District award of Merritt, I was a Wood badge instructor, scout leader, scoutmaster, venture leader, explorer leader, order the arrow Vigil member Order of the Arrow Advisor, Buckskin advisor and Scoutmaster for 2 National Jamborees and I’m disgusted. We should all be ashamed for allowing such a travesty to take place
Campouts will be alot more fun! Honestly they are opening themselves up for lawsuits. Not every boy or girls will have the maturity to behave with the integrity needed to withstand the temptation. What a situation to put them in.

Well said. Any Scout Leader whos led boys into the wilderness know the complexities of toilets, showers sleeping arrangements. And the Scout Leader is liable for following a litany of rules and guidelines about adult and youth interactions. It was challenging with just adults and boys in the backcountry; it will be nigh impossible with boys and girls and youths with sexual identity issues. No sane person would sign up for the headaches and liabilities this will bring.
I guess it also includes Satan worshipers. Probably illegals too.
The Girl Scouts supposedly were not offering young women the skills and training they desired. Solution? If you said “improve the Girl Scouts”, YOU LOSE. Nope, the answer is “destroy the Boy Scouts”. No “safe place” for young men (many lacking a father figure at home) to learn manly virtues anymore. Not “inclusive” enough, I guess. What’s next, a “Guess the Gender” merit badge?
If Robert Baden-Powell could come back to life he would follow the example of Jesus Christ when he drove the sinners out of the temple with a whip. Christ did this because the temple was being defiled by those who had taken that what had been intended for good and had perverted it into something evil. Likewise those spouting how great the new organization is should be driven from the house of Boy Scouting built by Baden-Powell. Mark me an Eagle Scout who would stand proudly beside Baden-Powell to help clean the house.

Agreed, but what would you expect when you have a US Supreme Court Justice that is incapable of defining a “female”??!! I truly fear for our youth and their future. It is already bad enough and one can only imagine what lies ahead!
I am an old man once a Scout many years ago, glad young girls can become Scouts. I figure we should just call them the Scouts of America. Admit I have mixed feelings about the world today, I only pray. Scouts values we need in this world.
